Launch Ceremony in Poitiers, France
On 12 July, the launch ceremony of the “Hello! China” classic car return to the Silk Road was held at Futuroscope in Poitiers, France.
The convoy consists of 33 classic cars, 3 off-road vehicles and 2 service vehicles. 80 drivers from France, Belgium and Switzerland will cross ten Eurasian countries along the ancient Silk Road, covering about 15,000 km.
The convoy is planned to enter China via Kashgar on 10 August, passing through Aksu, Turpan, Hami, Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Zhangye, Xi’an and Pingyao before arriving in Beijing on 31 August.
